Yes. Stripe Connect alumni donations are part of the organization Legacy workspace, which also unlocks unlimited trees, the alumni dashboard, multi-admin access, and archive mode.

Does ChapterLine take a fee on alumni donations?

ChapterLine does not currently charge a platform fee on donations at launch. Stripe’s payment processing fees may still apply according to Stripe’s pricing.

Can alumni donate anonymously?

Yes. Donors can check Donate anonymously on the public checkout form. Anonymous gifts appear on the leaderboard without a display name.

Are chapter donations tax-deductible?

Not automatically. Donations support the chapter, but tax deductibility depends on the chapter’s own tax-exempt status and receipt practices. ChapterLine displays this disclaimer on the donate form.

Where do donation funds go?

Payments are processed by Stripe and sent to the chapter’s connected Stripe account. ChapterLine facilitates checkout and reporting but is not the charitable recipient.

Can we hide donations on the public page?

Yes. Organization administrators can disable public donation visibility from the organization dashboard while keeping Stripe connected for internal readiness or future campaigns.
